I attended school in Ajo through 1961 and graduated from school in 1963 in Tucson. I then attended the University of Arkansas.My mother, Bobbye Voris,taught school in Ajo and then retired in Tucson after teaching 33 years total. I lost touch with people and only now in touch with Sally Havin Williams and Mrs. Irene Shaw. It was interesting getting on and reading all the news, etc. My memories only cover 7 years of my life but they are extremely good memories. I have been back on several occasions and was shocked how things have changed since the mine closed. I would love to hear from someone who remembers me or my mother.
